Flower Photography

My aim with floral photography is to highlight each individual plant's beauty or unique quality. I have naturally developed a style that embraces colour and a creative use of light and shadow.

I love using a macro lens to highlight the intricate details of plants, creating a crisp subject with a softly blurred background. I keep my editing to a minimum to preserve the authentic colours and textures of each plant, opting against additional artistic layers in post-production. For me, this approach maintains the inherently uplifting and beautiful quality of flowers.
